Principal’s Introduction

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Jamia Islamia Birmingham, the College of  Higher Islamic Education,  was established in February 2000 for boys of age 11 years and over.
The Muslim community of  West Midlands needs  schools that provide a comprehensive, broad and positive understanding of Islam as well as secular education in an Islamic environment.

In response to this need, Jamia was established through the acceptance and mercy of Allah (swt) and the gracious duaas and generosity of Muslim brothers and sisters across the country.

At Jamia we ensure that the fundamental British values are  taught and prepare children for life in modern Britain.

We want all young Muslims who study at Jamia to have the self-esteem and confidence to play a positive and inclusive role in their communities, to be exemplary citizens and good Muslims.

I thank you for visiting our website and hope that you will remember Jamia in your Duas.

(Maulana)  Muhammad Rezaul Haque
Founder & Principal

" Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is well established in the school. Students are taught respect and tolerance for all, and they have a very good understanding of how this impacts on their lives in school and the wider community. They have a real appreciation of modern British values and can speak with confidence about such aspects as democracy and law and order. Thus, students are well prepared for life in modern Britain.
